Amelia Earhart is THE WORLD card in #OurTarot. 🌏🌍🌎
With all this #retrograde energy about to slam us (which is a good thing, too, I'll admit it) I needed to make a card that was really special to me. Amelia Earhart was an American aviation pioneer, author, professor, and advocate for women's equality. In 1932, she became the first woman to ever fly solo nonstop across the Atlantic Ocean, an achievement for which she received medals from both the US and French governments. In 1935, she worked for Purdue University, counseling both female students with ambitious aspirations, as well as the engineers in the aeronautics department. The World card represents this sense of accomplishment, learning, exploration and betterment that Amelia Earhart absolutely embodies.
Earhart attempted to fly around the globe in 1937. In a mysterious and tragic accident, she lost her life. I have been fascinated with her since fourth grade. Her plane and her body went down, but she has circumnavigated the planet many times over as a legendary woman who deserves to be the last card of the #MajorArcana of Our Tarot. ✈️ (more about the project via link in my bio)
