  • amherstcollegeGet ready to move with the African and Caribbean Students' Union at their annual Wave Your Flag Dinner happening today, at 5:30 in the Alumni Gym.
    .
Amir Hall, a senior from Trinidad and Tobago majoring in English, leads a dance rehearsal. "In the African and Caribbean Students' Union I've found a true community," says Hall. "Dancing with the ACSU Dance Company has been nothing short of a joy. Nothing short of a bacchanal! Love my ACSU peeps. Today, as I dance my last dance with the ACSU, I remain grateful to the founder, Sheila Chukwulozie '16 and to the co-founders Darienne Madlala '16, and Stella Oyalabu '16 for creating these spaces of sharing. I remain grateful to the current lead choreographer Daniella Bennet '17, who has lead for the last three years with incredible kindness, SLAYAGE and grace. Today, I dance my last dance, I will slay, because it is our legacy. And this is my family." Dancers: Erin Nwachuku '20, Candice Jackson '17, Kennedy Reed '19, Anise Diaz '18, Dan Lee '20. 📷🎥 #MariaStenzel #AmherstCollege #ThisIsAmherst
