    β€’ Maca - antioxidant, adaptogenic, neuroprotective ❀
    β€’ Coconut oil - antifungal, antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory ❀
    I also threw in some bananas, dates, activated buckwheat groats, chia seeds, pea protein powder, water & ice πŸ’¦
    Gotta love when something so good for your body tastes like chocolate πŸ˜‰
    Hope you guys are having an awesome week - we are going to a homeschool meet-up tomorrow, looking forward to chatting with some other homeschooling mums! I don't get much socialization time for myself these days - I mean, plenty of socialization with my kids and husband, but not much time with other women. Our IG community kind of fills that void, but there's nothing like real life interactions. So, I'm really looking forward to it! (Apart from being nervous that they won't like me 😫)

I am an ESL teacher and can only dream of homeschooling my son when the time comes, but unfortunately I don't think we'll be able to do that due to financial circumstances. I think that when done right, HS can be very beneficial.

  • viedelavegan@cherry_timato I add about 1 tbs of coconut oil (which gets shared between 5 cups of smoothie πŸ˜‚) so it's not a lot - but I do think it makes the smoothie a bit more satiating, yes πŸ’œ
