This week we will be featuring photographs from Daniel Castro Garcia's (@foreignerdigital) groundbreaking series. As a reaction to the visual culture that has developed around the topic of migration, he decided to travel across Europe in the attempt to defy stereotypes and portray the refugees in a dignifying manner. Here he captured 28-year-old Madia who left Senegal crossing the Sahara desert in a dangerous convoy of pick-up trucks.
