nikkiglasgowI'm still thinking about the Easter service at @prestontrail yesterday. One part consisted of interpretive dance and aerial silks. It was an amazing celebration of life through art. Seeing people using their God-given talents for the glory of God is always heart-warming and a little convicting if I'm being honest. I am an artist of a different medium, and I have to ask myself, "What am I using my talents for?" It makes for a pretty empty and unfulfilling life if the answer is "Myself" or "To have fun". Easter is at its core a celebration of new life. I hope to move my photography and writing endeavors forward in a new direction. I don't know what it will look like when I get there, but I hope to know it when I see it. I trust that the journey will be as important as the destination. I am so thankful that I am forgiven. I am humbled that I am able to be made new again and again. I am desperately in need of a Savior. I know that Jesus lives and it's only because of Him that I can have an abundant life. Here's to fresh starts. (God know I need them on an ongoing basis)
