A lesson on making self-adjustments when feeling imbalanced. In my case, my right shoulder is sore and inflamed after the @ayc_confluence and traveling (especially carrying luggage) on an airplane yesterday. In the first photo I'm protecting the right shoulder by not engaging the muscle as much as the left. I couldn't "see" this (feel it) imbalance without taking a photo. In the second photo I'm actively lifting up the sore shoulder with a lot of focus. Looks more even. #injuryrecovery #ashtangayoga (p.s.
