kristlectLast night I took a moment at around 6pm to just breathe.
I had all my notes laid out for a client presentation and was about to review them again when it occurred to me that I had been on-the-go all day: walking, working, typing, talking.... I had another good 5 hours ahead of me.... presenting, commuting, storytelling, cuddling, meal prepping, laundry folding...before finally sleeping.
B R E A T H E . "Just sit here and breathe", I said to myself. I used the pattern on the tablerunner as a focal point and I took a minute to breathe.
Sometimes #selfcare doesn't need to be a yoga class or spa day. It can be a refreshing beverage or taking in a scenic view or a minute of cleansing breaths.
