intsikeleloOne of our young builders, Ayanda, brought a special guest to the building site recently… his blind grandfather, Zamile. Zamile used to be a builder himself, and after hearing his grandson tell him about the Langbos Home, he wanted to come check it out himself. It was surreal to watch Zamile feel the superadobe domes with his hands as Ayanda explained every nuance of the design and building method. And it was touching to see how proud Zamile was of his grandson. We are proud of him too and incredibly grateful for our amazing team in Langbos.

- c.gravaThanks to everyone who is following this project and has helped make it possible. Little magical moments like this are happening all the time and I am excited to share more. Please feel free to reach out if you ever want to— this build was made possible by individuals all over the world coming up with unique ways to get involved… starting fundraising campaigns, leveraging their own company or community, volunteering special skills, or just plain donating to help fund things like building materials or salary for builders like Ayanda. Even just sharing our posts can help connect us to people who may have amazing things to offer, so everything helps. Thanks and stay tuned 🙂
