Repost from @yogalyon - Watched the stars pierce through the early morning sky, a sliver of the moon rise above the ocean, only to be followed by the rays of the sunrise kissing the sand on the last day of Aqua Vida's first retreat. Although the retreat just ended I'm still riding these high vibrations created by the most amazing group of people.
This endeavor of creating a retreat from start to finish was the most challenging and rewarding experience. I'm happily exhausted mindbody and overflowing from the heart with love to a group of strangers who quickly became family. Thank you to each one of you beautiful souls for moving, letting go, opening up, and creating this amazing journey. Thank you Jana for co-facilitating this sacred space with me and offering your light to the group. Thank you to my teachers for the wisdom passed down in the root of the practices of yoga and meditation, I am humbled by the fruits of the practice that unfolded before my eyes as the group moved through a week of daily meditation, SUP yoga, and yoga. Thank you mom for coming on all these adventures with me, you are inspiring, completely grounded in the light of who you are and my favorite travel buddy. Thank you extreme hotel for hosting us in the most beautiful space, centered in sustainable design, reminding us of all the possibilities living off the grid brings with such a lighthearted community. Thank you Maria for the beautiful meals, each one so colorful, unique, and delicious. Most importantly, thank you Mother Earth for your nourishing abundance in all you give to us, your medicine that heals us, and reminding us of how interconnected we all are in the beauty of the world.
May we leave this space with overflowing hearts steeped in gratitude and centered in our most natural state of being.
May we leave with little impact on the environment but waves of change in the world.
May we carry the strength from the interconnected fibers this incredible group created.
May we know our drop in the ocean creates infinite ripples of love and light.
