Here’s what you don’t see: I was SO excited about creating a table display for my church's women's event, but when I tried to put it all together…it looked ridiculous. I got so frustrated. I texted my sister, who came over, thought for about 5 seconds, then created this fun arrangement. Here’s the thing:
.
1) This doesn’t look like it involved very much, but there’s always more than what we see at first glance. Sometimes we try to look like we have it all together on the outside, but inside, we’re a mess.
.
2) Be humble enough to let others see behind the mask. We all have different gifts, and that’s on purpose. I don’t have an eye for decorating, but my sister does. God designed believers to work together as one body, admitting where we’re weak and sharing our strengths. When we join together, it’s a beautiful picture of the Kingdom of God.
.
3) There’s freedom in admitting you don’t have it all together. Your weakness may be another’s strength, and your strength may be her weakness. Be there for each other, and see what God teaches you in the process.
