History of photography - one of the first editorial jobs I ever did was also a story about traffic for Boston mag. It was photographed back in 2001, pre 9/11, when using a big camera to take photographs of infrastructure and/or other things not deemed beautiful or interesting by regular folks just got you weird looks instead of having the police show up to question you. Rarely are they interested in having a discussion about aesthetics and land use like I wish they would.

  • oconbo@icelandic_yogurt you've got a nice landscape story in this issue. I forgot you used to be a Boston photographer...
  • leahfastenI remember this photo and I can't believe it's from 16 years ago.
  • oconbo@leahfasten I know, it's crazy it was 16 years ago. We were just kids back then.
