dangfoodsDang tired of lottsa matzo this Passover? (sorry, we had to 🙈) Whip up this easy Coconut Caramel Matzo Bark. Recipe 👇🏽 •
•4-6 unsalted matzohs (we used organic manischewitz)
•1 cup Salted butter (we like Kerrygold)
•1 cup firmly packed coconut sugar
•6 oz coarsely chopped dark chocolate •1 90g package of your fave Dang Coconut Chips
•Edible Gold leaf if you're feeling fancy •
1️⃣ line a baking sheet first with foil and then with parchment paper (must have otherwise your caramel will stick!) Preheat oven to 375
2️⃣cover the entire bottom of the sheet with matzo-trim squares to fit (doesn't have to be perfect!) 3️⃣melt butter & sugar in saucepan stirring constantly until boiling. Boil 3 min-keep stirring! It will get foamy and smell amazingggg
4️⃣pour over matzo and spread over evenly. Pop into the oven for 15 min. Check every 5 min to make sure it doesn't burn!
5️⃣at 15 min, remove and sprinkle immediately with chopped chocolate. Let sit for 5 min
6️⃣spread melted chocolate and immediately sprinkle with coconut chips and decorate with gold leaf. Set in the freezer for 15 min.
7️⃣ break and enjoy! 🎉
