  • mamalizzy#LetsAskAmy I want to know how much sun Peonies need for blooming, & also where to plant my little pussywillow tree. I live in zone 6, wooded area, shade to partial sun~~💖~thank you!
  • firsteditionsplantsHi, @mamalizzy – Peonies do well and will flower in either full sun or part shade. The trick with peonies is to be certain not to plant them too deep. If you do, they won’t flower at all. A pussy willow tree will do best in full sun but can also grow in part shade. If you have a spot with poor drainage, it’s the perfect place for your tree. Avoid problems with the roots by planting it far away from your house, sewer and water lines, and septic tank. Both peonies and pussy willows are great for cutting and using in flower arrangements. Enjoy your garden! ~Amy
