Our first attempt at shrubs! Grapefruit-Tangerine-Rosemary Shrubs to be exact! Shrubs are old-timey and can be used in cocktails, to flavor seltzer/sparkling water, or as a base for salad dressings or marinades.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups grapefruit segments and juice
1 1/2 cups tangerine segments and juice
2 1/4 cups apple cider finger
2 1/4 cups sugar
3 sprigs rosemary
Combine fruit juice, segments, sugar and rosemary, muddle.
Set in fridge overnight.
Add vinegar and muddle again.
Set in fridge for a few days, stirring/shaking once per day, until the sugar has completely dissolved and the vinegar flavor has mellowed.
Strain out and discard the fruit and rosemary (or find another use for it!). The shrub can be refrigerated up to a few months. (Some of mine will be canned, since lord knows we don't have fridge space! 😊)
