Blend for 2 minutes: 3 eggs, 3 Tbsp butter, 3/4 to 1 cup of sugar, 1/4tsp salt, 1cup milk or other liquid. 
Add: 11/2 cups all purpose flour, 1/2 cup corn starch, 1 tbsp baking powder. Pulse until well combined.
Melt 8 tbsp sugar in the baking pan on the stove top (if stove top safe pan) or under the broiler. (Enough to cover the bottom and sides of the pan) Add pineapples and add the blended dough. Bake 350F for 40 to 50 minutes. Turn, the cake will come right out.
