First Steps’ Pitter Pats Kids Club was founded in 2005 by then six-year-old Shaunti Bains. In Shaunti’s first letter to First Steps with her first donation she said “I sold some toys and rocks and stickers and made some games out of paper and pulled lots of dandelion to get my $6.” Her six-dollar gift provided a hungry child with a daily cup of soymilk for six months!
If you know a kid who’d like to join the Pitter Pats Club and learn about First Steps’ work in North Korea, email us at info@firststepscanada.org!
