Lots of things drive me to succeed, be happy and workout but when I am stressed fitness can be the last thing on my agenda. I just do what I can because I know something is better than nothing as with just about anything in life. 
If you are always stressed out and tired your adrenals may be producing cortisol all the time! Making weight loss a challenge. Try only working out 20 mins at a time if this is the case. The serotonin and other happy hormones can help lower your cortisol levels when combined with a diet rich in both soluble and insoluble fiber.
