boo2bullyingBoo2Bullying a Champion Against Bullying.
Bullying is an issue that no child should ever have to endure. Fortunately, there are people who care and take action to make our communities, schools and online kinder, more accepting places.
PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center Unity Awards will be held on Thursday, May 25th, 2017, at the Bloomington Center for the Arts in Bloomington, Minn. We will honor and celebrate a few of those individuals and groups who have made outstanding contributions to address and prevent bullying—whether it’s building awareness of bullying prevention, inspiring and empowering others to take positive action, or advocating for those who need support.
You are invited to nominate students, parents, educators and community members that have made a positive impact to prevent bullying. Nominations come in from around the country and have included teachers who have touched the lives of students, individuals or groups who have been active in their communities, and those who simply made someone feel that they were not alone. Nominations are NOW open and will be accepted through April 14th; learn more about the four national awards and the nomination process at http://www.pacer.org/bullying/getinvolved/unity-awards.asp.
