Happy snow day! We are cozy inside (hope you are too) making popcorn and maple snow candy. Here's our candy recipe: stick an arm outside and fill a bowl with fresh, clean snow. Boil 1/4 cup of *real* maple syrup until it reaches 240 degrees Fahrenheit - use a candy thermometer if you have one - and then pour the hot maple syrup in drips onto the snow. If you want to get fancy about it, position popsicle sticks in the snow first and make lollipops. If you're like us, wait a few seconds for the candy to cool and harden and then scoop it out with a spoon right into your mouth.
