London, the city where everyone comes to do stuff. If you don’t wanna do stuff, don’t come. It’s savage and you’ll get worn out. If you come, you need to bring some hype. You need to armour yourself up with a layer of excitement and hope in the new you, what you’re gonna become. I’m serious. Maybe you’re gonna become rich, or an attractive social butterfly. Maybe you’re gonna become a more creative proactive person doing exciting projects or events. Maybe you’re gonna find a new life, connected with like-minded free-spirited people and live and love in fantastic alternative ways. Whatever. So, get your hype game on-point. Know what it is you came to do. And prepare to lose.

Yes, lose. That is the true beauty of the tantric washing machine that is London. It’s a very fast way to completely clean out all the insecurities lurking under your dreams. Either you succeed or you fail, but either way you must burn out, something everyone who’s ever lived in London (or NY) can resonate with. Burn-out is seen as a negative, but let’s look at it differently...

  • anthony_g0h...Burn-out doesn’t happen when you get tired, it happens when you get disappointed. Things can be going well, but when you realise that whatever you selfishly thought that you, personally, were going to get out of this quest isn’t happening - then you lose energy. If you chase money in order to feel happy. Or if you do spiritual or humanitarian work, and if even 10% of you is in that in order to personally feel worthwhile, then that burn-out is naturally waiting to cleanse you by fire. When you create metal from ore, you heat it up until it’s a fiery, agile glowing liquid, and the impurities are literally burned away, leaving pure shiny metal.

But you need to be willing to take a shape, get your hype on, or you don’t get to burn-out. To someone who has had a few rounds of burn-out or similar, I know, that last thing you wanna do is step-up, take a shape, push into Life. You wanna flow, surrender, serve. You see other people’s ambitious shapes as painful just to look at. But as long as you have basic humility, basic understanding that you came here to burn, then your hype is a gracious necessity, rather than an escape from yourself. #gethypeANDdietryin'
