bluffworksOn top of Pinnacle #1. You can see the glass jar someone left containing a pencil and log book. Reading through the log, we determined fewer than 10 parties summit the pinnacle each year. The record showed big seasonal swings - a few visitors in spring, barely any in summer, a couple more in the fall, and then a quiet winter - means that as late as we were hiking, we might be the last visitors for a good few months.
There's never enough time to soak it all in. The view demands hours to do it justice. Maybe an overnight bivy. But note, that’s the edge right there, so it would need to be a secured sleep.
