@Regrann from @cothtv - “I remember standing in my best friends hospital room watching him wither away from leukemia-not knowing what to say-asking him if he was afraid.  He said, " No I'm not because Jesus said no matter what... I'm gonna be ok." In that unexpected moment,  my whole life changed. I was suddenly overwhelmed by the unmistakable presence of Jesus. I remember saying, "I don't know if I can do this ." And I felt Jesus say, " You don't have to do anything-I've already done it for you" That day, I went from agnostic at best to "all in" for Him.  Since then, God has made it extravagantly clear, my sins and my past are forgiven. He's taken my stumbles, bad choices and brokenness, and  just like it says in Romans 8:28, "caused  all things to work together for good." My life's had some living.  It's gone from addicted to free... lost to found... orphan to adopted.  Now I'm a husband and a father. In this chapter, it's like I went to bed one night- a decently successful singer-songwriter, and the next day, I woke up standing on a street in Birmingham, realizing I was called to be a pastor.  Now I'm the Small Groups Pastor at Church of the Hills. It's the most unbelievable thing I've ever had the privilege of being a part of.  I can't believe I get to do this.
Along this journey, I've discovered one thing people desire is fulfillment.  I always thought that would come from having a few hit songs. It didn't. For me, fulfillment has come from being loved by an amazing God, serving with an amazing group of people, and letting Him use my story of life change to let others know... HE CAN CHANGE THEIR LIVES, TOO!” Neal Coty
