From July 14th to December 31st of 2004 EMST presented a solo exhibition of Jannis Kounellis at the Athens Concert Hall, which was hailed as a major art event during the Olympic Games of 2004.
The exhibition's concept had been characterized by the artist himself as an “insitu” installation with big dimensions which was displayed at a 600 sq.m space made of iron, wood, charcoal and sackcloths, materials which Jannis Kounellis used in his artworks since the 1960s.
The art piece “Untitled” (2004) of the exhibition is one of the most emblematic pieces of the EMST collection.
