We have become too disconnected with the earth on which our food grows on and the people who labor for our food. Around 75 percent of farmworkers currently working in the U.S. were born in Mexico, and at least 60 percent are undocumented. Farmers are no longer worried about the drought, but about all of the FOOD that is rotting because "immigrants" are too scared to go out in the fields to do their jobs. Jobs that Americans do not want to do. Really, they don't want these jobs. Do you ever take the time to think about what it took to put that meal in front of you? Your heart will open up and gratitude will flood in. 🙏🏼💪🏽🍅🍑🍒🍆🍓🍇✨🍉🍎🌶#immigration #farmtotable #gratitude #adaywithoutimmigrants
