I decided to try a recipe I found on Pinterest for turmeric lemonade. It is supposedly better at treating depression than Prozac. We shall see. It is made with 4 cups cold water, 2 tablespoons turmeric, 4 tablespoons honey, one and a half lemons (I added the pulp) and one blood orange. I put it in the blender for about one minute to mix it all up. It tastes heavily of turmeric and is a flavour that I suspect is an acquired taste but I'm going to see if it takes the winter blues away. .
