(Part 1/2) - Kate's Makeup
Kate Middleton is a natural beauty. Let's take a look at her makeup from 2011 on her wedding day up until now. Kate's pre-wedding makeup wasn't as polished as it is now, obviously, because she didn't have events that required her to wear a full face of makeup. With proper instruction and practice, anyone can achieve the look of royal beauty that Kate has. In fact, we suggest you watch this tutorial on You Tube from @bbpro_hannahmartin (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=N7FTCawbtAs)
to #replikate the look. Kate, like the rest of us, tries new products and, in a natural way, a look evolves over time. She used to wear heavy eyeliner, but ever since the Vogue photo shoot, she's lessened the amount of eye makeup, as well as blusher. Kate's natural look is lovely for day and her more made up face is perfectly glamorous for night. Now, one thing to note is that it did look as if she were wearing false lashes at the BAFTAs this year - something she didn't seem to do for her wedding day. She famously did her own makeup for her wedding day, but perhaps she's had more professional help over the years. Did you know that she had a professional do her makeup for her engagement photo shoot, but she thought she didn't look like herself, wiped it all off and redid it on her own? Good for her! How many of us had a professional do our makeup only to look in the mirror in the end and think "oh no that's not right!" At the BAFTAs this year she seemed to be wearing a hint of on-trend highlighter, a more coral cheek, and a noticeable lip color. Some have speculated that her hairstylist has also had a hand in her make up. We might never know, but what we do know is that Kate's just like us-trying new things, trying to get it right ☺️.
