The #LosAngelesMemorialColiseum is proud to announce the winner of our contest about what makes us the #GreatestStadiumintheWorld". Our winner is Amanda Ibarra from Los Angeles, CA. Here is her story: "My first time at the Coliseum was a USC football game. It was me and my son, who dreamed of attending and playing football for USC. Then in 2016, when my son was a senior at Dorsey High, he played their rival game against Crenshaw.....at the Coliseum!!! Me as “Team Mom”, my two daughters......we are on the field to watch my son playing PLAYING ON THAT FIELD! A DREAM COME TRUE! To see my baby, my only son, my reason to give up a bad past and be who I am today. He may not have been in Trojan gear but he is on that field. AND SO AM I! We even went through the tunnel and in the Trojan Locker Room! It was one of my favorite Mommy moments in life, and I have many. The Coliseum will always be a "mom and son" memory I will cherish. A TRUE DREAM COME TRUE. I attached some of my best photos to share how proud I am to be my son's mom. To show how dreams do come true even if not as you wished, but in another form." Thank you, Amanda- we look forward to meeting you when you're here as our guests for a behind-the-scenes Coliseum Historic Tour.
