#ETAF would like to give a shout-out to one of our amazingly dedicated supporters, Leslie Fine. A regular donor, she does everything she can to help us continue to deliver life-saving care and services to people affected by #HIV/AIDS around the world. Here is a short but powerful spotlight about why Leslie loves Elizabeth Taylor and how she was inspired to join the fights against #AIDS: "I had really not heard the words AIDS until 1985, when Elizabeth Taylor decided to use her celebrity to find a cure for this terrible virus. No one else wanted anything to do with AIDS, not even to mention its name. When everyone said 'no', Elizabeth went the opposite way. She had one hell of a fight on her hands. The first thing she talked about was education and to this day, after all her tireless work, education is still the most important thing to help to end AIDS. Because I love Elizabeth Taylor as much as I do, I want to honor her memory and one way I found to do that is to donate what ever I could each month to her wonderful foundation. This passionate, caring and loving woman set up this foundation up so that every cent donated went straight to the cause.

She worked so hard and did so much, it is now up to us to help. Donations are one of the most important things we can do, this and read everything you can get your hands on about AIDS and all the strides that are being made. We also need to be helpful and caring to the people who have HIV and AIDS. There is still such a stigma attached to this disease that it doesn't allow people to live as normal a life as they should be able to.

We have come so far but there is so much more to do. Without Elizabeth Taylor we would probably still have a huge lack of medications and education. I wonder if she even knew how many hundreds of thousands of lives she has saved. That magnificent woman has left us a legacy of love and a legacy to help the less fortunate. Remember, AIDS does not discriminate. God Bless you Elizabeth and Rest In Peace. I love and miss you more every single day."
