kristycambronBonjour & Good Mornin'! .
I'm researching traditional French breakfasts for my next book & am delighted with all the "croissant" and "pain au chocolat" references -- pastries and French press coffee make it sound tres dreamy! Except one thing has concerned me, friends: (& that almost crushed my soul)... the French typically do not eat a meat with the morning meal, which means NO BACON RASHERS!
Excuse me while I'm heartbroken over here. LOL! This was one of the Irish breakfasts we had at a little place in Cork City, Ireland -- Cafe Serendipity -- lovely spot, incredible Irish coffee, soda bread and YES... my fav new friends: bacon rashers!!!!!! (Think American bacon x100!) It's not the traditional Irish breakfast (we had that in Dublin), but I still worry about the lovely French characters in this next book. They are missing out on a real joy in life. I think the Irish character in this book is going to have to take the croissant-eating characters to school and make sure they breakfast to their potential! 😉❤🥓
Bonjour -- and happy breakfasting on this lovely Sunday! .

- justcommonlyHahahaha. When I was in Paris, the breakfast pastries were sooo delightful, I didn't miss the meat at all. BUT I think it would be hilarious scene when your Irish character shows the French character the "meaning of breakfast" 🍳🐷
