Hello all! My name is Cassandra, and I am another member of the Lead Team for U100. I grew up in a tiny town called Waterville N.Y. and have dreamed of coming to Syracuse for my whole life (just like my Mom and two older brothers)! Giving tours of campus is one of my all time favorite things- arguably better than thrift shopping or drinking bubble tea 😊 As a tour guide, I've gotten to give tours to Chancellor Syverud and the owner of the Mets! For two summers and two academic years, I have loved showing families our campus, particularly the atrium of the Life Science building. There is so much natural light in the atrium, just as there is in all of the labs (an intentional design choice, and built only 8 years ago). I may be biased as a Biology major to love this building so much, but other students can still make use of the comfy chairs and the smoothies in Freshens- my personal fav is the Mango Me Crazy!
