I didn't take pictures in DC yesterday. (Super happy other people did though!) I didn't have cell service most of the time, and after one failed attempt to do an Instagram story, I looked around and thought, "this is my social network. We're all watching each other here, now, live." I don't know what social media is doing to our minds, to our communities. Like a lot of things, It's probably a mix of good and bad. But I do know that there is both power and fragility for protest in the digital era. Hoping these millions of people can continue to be nimble and brave in the months and years ahead.
