howdoessheIt’s been one week since I’ve joined the #ItCanWait distraction-free driving challenge. Not going to lie, it’s been harder than I thought, mostly because I can’t believe how much of a habit I’ve made of driving with my phone. Luckily, I got my kids on board and they remind me every time I reach to pick up my phone...”But mom, you promised!” It can wait. No text or notification is EVER worth their safety, or in McNeil’s case, other people’s safety. I love this #ItCanWait 21-day challenge by @ATT and am planning on doing it well after the 21 days. This is a life change that I’m willing to make for the people I love most. - Nicolette McKinlay

- rob.suzieWhen I'm in the car my phone is put away. It can wait. It can Always wait.
- becci_buckHere in the U.K. It's illegal to have hold hold your phone whilst you're in control of your veichle. That includes waiting at a red light. You can have hands free Bluetooth on to answer and make calls but you cannot use your phone to dial the numbers etc. That said the amount of people you still see driving whilst with their phone to their ear is still ridiculous and incredibly frustrating. Like you said it's putting not only yourself and your passengers at risk but other road users as well.
