Major project in the form of a gallery wall done. I printed via @snapfishus, a few of our family photos (taken by the amazing @heatherkleberphotography), along with a few photos from adventures we've had together. Made DIY canvases (tutorial will be up on #AdventuresofMel today), printed a John Muir quote from @dreambigprintables on Etsy, and found just a couple things from @hobbylobby (40% off coupon and 50% off home decor sale for the win). Most of the frames I already had. In the middle is a sign my sister and niece made us for Christmas. The words were burnt onto a piece of old wood that was part of our grandparents' first farmhouse (it's now gone), and it even has the date they founded the farm on the back. It's so special. As for the farmhouse bench below, @danlockcuff built it with wood from @loweshomeimprovement and plans found on @shanty2chic. It's painted with @shabbypaints, a mixture of Baby Boo and Lillian Gray. I love everything about this wall now. It's us.
Just a note of encouragement: If there's something in your home you don't love, it's ok to change it. Don't stay stuck. You can likely change it really affordably if you use your noggin and a li'l creativity.
