I made feta!! 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 If you've been following my instagram stories the past few days, then you must have seen my feta adventure. It's the first time I've tried to make it, and even though it needs to be kept in brine for a couple of weeks to be technically called feta and to develop its characteristic tangy and salty flavor, I won't go through this process now because it tastes so good as it is that I don't have the patience to wait. Plus, I need to do some more research on the brining part to make sure I don't ruin it. 
My first attempt was successful and I'm so happy about that. Never thought it was possible, and so easy! Granted, the flavor and texture at the moment is not proper feta but there's the promise of feta, and this Greek, feta-fiend girl is pretty happy with that. 
We had some of it drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and Greek dried wild oregano and I'll add a large portion of it in a tyropita I'm making at the moment with homemade phyllo. You can follow on ig stories for more. 😀

It may not be exactly feta what i made, since it hasn't been preserved in brine to develop the proper flavor, but it's incredibly satisfying because i made it!! Hope i go through the whole process next time. 😃
