As you gear up for the workweek ahead (sigh), my challenge to you is this: say YES only to the things that really matter. Be ruthless about cutting out things that you KNOW aren’t the best and highest use of your time. So many people wear “busy” like a badge of honor, but that’s not the same as being productive…and definitely not the same as knowing you’ve made time for your biggest priorities in life.

Time is non-refundable. Be intentional. To make space for the things that matter, you have to let go of busyness, and release yourself from unrealistic expectations you’ve created. Have the courage to stop taking on more obligations because you’re afraid it will upset people if protect your time.
Anything that’s not a HECK YES has to be a NO.

If you want practical ideas for making all of this a reality and figuring out what to let go of, check out the last {free} webinar I’m offering on teacher productivity—it’s on Tuesday, Jan, 3rd.
And if you want an entire community designed to support you in creating better habits (and actually following through with them once the New Years resolution hype has worn off), Wednesday is the LAST DAY to join the 40 Hour Teacher Workweek Club.

Click the link in my profile to sign up for either opportunity.

Happy New Year, my friends. Here’s to PRODUCTIVITY and PURPOSE in 2017.
