In anticipation of #NewYearsDay, here's a retro #ObjectOfTheWeek: This New Years greeting card, addressed to "Mrs. R. Schmidt, Alameda, California" was mailed in San Francisco on December 28, 1914 by "Mr. & Mrs. Hering." Along with New Years greetings, the writer also talks about the Schmidt's son "little Robert" and mentions that "the City [San Francisco] is full of the [whooping] cough and the measles..." Here's to a much healthier and happier New Year than the one in 1915!

Don't forget: OMCA will be open on New Year's Eve, 10 am–3 pm, and closed on New Year's Day this Sunday.
