Keep a clean, half-gallon carton in the freezer and add vegetable scraps to it when you cook your meals. ❄️ Once that carton is full, use it to make a vegetable stock to use in other dishes! 🥕 Just put the veggies in a medium-sized saucepan, cover with cold water by 2 inches, bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat to gently simmer the mixture for 2 hours. 🍲 Remove from heat, then strain the liquid through a colander into a heatproof bowl. Let the sediment settle, then pour the broth off into some storage containers!
