Sister Aisha Ibbu passed away this afternoon. For those who may not know, she was an amazing lady who looked after the old Ntonde Masjid in Malawi. Not only did she looking after the masjid, but she spent the last number of her years trying to revive Islam in her village. She was truly an inspiration.
Alhamdulillah, we were able to complete the construction of the new Ntonde Masjid, which was her dream. Also with her assistance, we have been able to set up a committee at the masjid to ensure that the work that Sister Aisha had started will not be lost and will carry on. We have also worked with the local organisation to ensure that a full time Sheikh is present at the masjid and a small madrassah is now running.
Please remember her and the work that she had been doing in your duas.
