Not every workout is going to be perfect. We aren't going to feel 100% every day. It's all about listening to your body and respecting when you need a break. Today was a low energy day. I went to the gym, assessed my energy and mood, and determined that today wasn't a beast mode day. Did a few lighter weight exercises and called it a day. A night at home, some comfort food, and a good nights rest should fix me up! Never be afraid to take a break. The 'no days off' mentality can actually be quite damaging. Rest is just as important as your workouts. Honor the need to take a break. 🙏🏼
