I've lived a majority of my life in Vancouver, and I love the city. But somehow I always forget how rainy and dreary it gets in the fall. Even though I lived in Winnipeg for 6 years with lots of snow and crazy cold temperatures, it was always bright and sunny. And with clocks falling back this weekend, it's going to get darker even earlier and I'm not looking forward to it. It definitely affects me, as it does many people; seasonal affective disorder is one name for it. I try to do things to help me stay "up" like exercising, staying in the light and appreciating the small things, like the beautiful colors of fall. I mean there is fall and then winter ahead of us, so it'll be a while before we seen the long bright days. #vancouver #fall #rain #thewritebalancelooksdown . . . . . . . . . . #seasonalaffectivedisorder #autumn #winter #yvr #winnipeg #leaves #colors #feelingblue #exercise #timechange #daylightsavings #momslife #depression #momblogger #rainy #dreary
