Corinne Peterson's Cairn Project installation is underway in the Oak Park Art League gallery, with more than 400 stoneware tokens created by women, children and men in Peterson's workshops that support individuals recovering from pain, trauma and personal loss. OPAL will be offering a Cairn Project workshop with Corinne on Saturday, October 22, from 2:00-5:00 pm. Generous funding for this powerful installation and OPAL's Art for Social Change Programs are provided, in part, by Rotary Club of Oak Park-River Forest, Illinois Humanities, Oak Park Area Arts Council, Riveredge Hospital, Illinois Arts Council.
