I stand for freedom of religion and choice. ✌️ I'm protesting FIDE's decision not because of Iran's religion or people, but for the government's laws that are restricting my rights as a woman. - maryammukhtar@tassmick we were born to be on whatever our parents were, we did not get to choose the path that we are comfortable with; hence, choosing the religion & beliefs at an age where we can make decision is not considered as changing religion. Also, if that Hadith is correct means it is applicable on any other religion; so if i were christian and decided that il be a Muslim means i should be killed? It is not convenient at all to place such Hadith. Additionally; i believe Quraan is stronger than Hadith; the miracle of Quraan is the unability to be twisted; whilst Hadith is not 100% unchanged - disagreement ruins not ambicability; peace!

- daisyheart48I think your stand is courageous and selfless. Someone needs to stop giving in and you are in a position to do so respectfully and you have. It's not as if you're telling other women not to wear one, there is just no reason why you should be forced to do so. I agree it is a human right.
