chimoduYaki Kadafi and Tupac - Los Angeles, CA 1995 - I got a call from California yesterday morning. Caught me running out the door but something told me to grab this one. It was Kadafi's mother. She wanted to talk to the person that captured her son and Tupac's love for each other on film. We talked for about 30 minutes and both shared the importance of making sure a legacy is protected and treated with respect always. As she thanked me, I stopped her and told her that's my role in all of this. To make sure everyone that passes my camera is treated right and done in a way that can live for years to come. I'm glad that both of these guys were comfortable enough around me to be themselves. That's the way to bring out the real personalities of people with a camera.
