We have finally found some time to make a few more pieces of a project that we did last January for a @todesignoffsite show.

The show was called #madeprimary and was coordinated by @madedesign and @kilowattkate. Five Toronto designers worked on products that could be made locally and sold/distributed around the world. Glad to say that the show won the @todesignoffsite top award of best in festival!

This is our "Burns" candle holder in cork, bronze, and glass that was hand blown by the amazing @silvia_taylor. The candle is held on top by the brass cross, and drips down to fill the glass vessel, highlighting the use over time.

  • ryanebbersCongrats! I'm sure you guys thought of this already but if there was a wick that dangled from the centre I wonder if it could form a new candle in the bottom as the candle at the top burned?
  • silvia_taylorIts a pleasure working with you guys!!
  • kilowattkateNice!!! Can't wait to get my paws on one!
  • thendc@ryanebbers Great minds think alike! That's in Gen 2, self-making candle ;)
