The pangolin is the most illegally trafficked mammal in the world - over 1 million are estimated to have been poached in the last decade for their meat and scales. Pangolin populations are under enormous pressure from worldwide poachers, most notably due to demand from China and Vietnam where their meat is considered a delicacy and their scales are used for traditional medicine.

The U.S. has an incredible opportunity to shut this trade down. The @IFAWHQ is working to list all species of pangolin as “Endangered” under the U.S. Endangered Species Act (ESA) and it is now at a crucial stage. You can help by signing now:
