ownyourglamWhen born with a naturally anxious mind, worry can become equally as natural in your permanent state of mind. When we evaluate moments, people, situations with this state of mind, we only see what can go wrong, the negative side of things. I read something not too long ago that sparked an "aha!" moment: "Interrupt anxiety with gratitude." Gratitude immediately changes your energy and shifts your state of mind from negative, to positive. The next time a thought of worry enters your mind, think about something that you're deeply grateful about. Notice how this new grateful thought makes you feel. Practice this and limit the amount of times you complain during the day and slowly watch your frequency naturally adjust itself to a more positive vibe.
Did you know that 80% of today's thoughts are yesterday's thoughts? This is why it's so easy to get caught up in a vicious cycle of negativity. You break the cycle by keeping a mindful attitude and interrupting those thoughts that are doing you a disservice by keeping you chained to a negative state of being.
This is a little something that I've learned in my journey. I hope it helps you in yours. 🙏🏻
