- troianthoniart@macpzee not necessarily if u look back there's evidence of Bernie advocating for African Americans during the civil rights movement as well as bieng arrested side by side with Dr. King. Most politicians speak about it but don't be about. Even for a person like @killerMike (who knows him personally) to be from the hood and see things the way we see it growing up in poverty, it says alot about Bernie. Don't get it twisted ur right about most politicians having a hidden agenda and being crooked but the good comes with the bad, and in this case out of all the choices we have he fits the bill for what our people need at the moment. But like u said... we'll see.

- troianthoniart@macpzee of course his policies are far fetched. The fact that he wants to break big banks and stop them from capitalizing off of us as well as put government back into the hands of the American people where it belongs speaks volumes especially in times like today. The point is, It's a start. People said the same thing about Obama when he was elected. "He's not for the people", "He ain't doing nothing for the black community", yet we now have affordable health care, something "Our people" have lacked for some time now, and not to mention him pardoning the non-violent drug offenders. What I am trying to say is lots of people will choose to not go out and vote because they feel the system is rigged and "our votes don't count any way" which is a fair argument stemming from the last Bush election knowing how he stole it. But we have to remember our ancestors died for this and we should exercise our right. Obama ran on "hope" and strengthened the economy. Why can't Bernie do it. History always repeats itself @macpzee.
