vickiereddyGoing where people don't want to go, and doing what others don't want to do.
I've just spent the past week with these 4 (as well as @panyapat2012) in SE Asia and I am walking away with much hope in the midst of overwhelming brokenness and despair. They are the lights in the darkness, they are the ones sacrificing their own agendas and fears to love and serve others.
They are literally doing what so many of us could never even imagine doing. They are facing darkness head on and going in and "searching out the case of the stranger, and breaking the jaws of the wicked, and snatching the prey from his teeth" (Job 29:16-17, thanks for the reference @dawntoya @redrev)
It's hard work and it's not easy, comfortable or glamorous, but it is what is required to make a difference for the tens of thousands of people being trafficked in SE Asia alone each year.
This post is just to say thank you to you guys, for your sacrifices, for your commitment to rescuing the vulnerable and those who are being exploited; and to stand alongside you because you are going into the dark places and that is a lonely and scary walk.
I'm so grateful for each of you. #teamIndia @josephparkerhayes @mrslauraparker #mattparker @panyapat2012 @theexodusroad
