  • raphael_delaghetto56Yo no disrepect to homie that lost his life but as a proud Brooklynite, I can't help but to feel sad knowing that there is a "Robert Ph Diaz way" and there is no "Christopher Wallace way" IJS... Something ain't right here.. After cats been trying for a minute.. Maybe they're waiting till March!?!? Lets wait and see. I for one am outraged. Not outraged that they named something after son, Because I got love for anyone in hip hop that represents the Borough. But there shouldn't be a sign honoring ANYONE in hip hop before The Notorious Big! Aint no rapper rep Bk like Big, made a shout out to the Borough before winning every award!!This one right here hurts and is a DAMN shame!!!!!. #BROOKLYNFOREVER #BIGGIEFOREVER #Eastflatbush #Bedstuy #THISCANTBELIFE #DIBLASIOSHOULDBEPUNISHED #RIPBIG #RIPPH
  • mrdizaster@raphael_delaghetto56 SHUT THE FUCK UP FUCK UR FEELINGS. #RipPH #longlivepumpkinhead
  • raphael_delaghetto56@mrdizaster I would care bout your response if you were from the Borough. You don't walk these streets homie, Anybody from NYC know that this is blasphemy. Like I said I'm not hating on son getting recognized, my only problem is that he got that before/over the greatest rapper of all time which happens to be from Brooklyn. PERIOD.... CASE CLOSED! #RIPBIG #RIPPH #BROOKLYNFOREVER
  • gms_mcmiRight or wrong, Biggie was a great artist, and repped Brooklyn, obviously, but the majority of his music was about robbing, selling drugs, shooting people, calling women bitches and kickin' the door wavin' the 44. He had positive songs and messages too, but his public beef with Tupac and Shug Knight and the fact he was killed in a drive by, he was known for pistol whipping, drugs, etc. I LOVE Big's music, but I can see why government officials would review his content and say "No, not a good role model" and not want to put a sign up on St. James. I'm not agreeing with it, but it is understandable. PH raised money for dozens of chairties, counseled numerous friends out of lives of crime, helped many artists with their careers and was a good will ambassador. He has a little tough talk in some of his rhymes, but it is not the main focus of his music. He was about positivity and specifically talked about Park Slope and DeGraw Street in many of his records. It's a no brainer. Next question?
  • gms_mcmiBesides all that, B.I.G got his due. He is respected as one of the greatest Rappers of all time, in everyone's Top 5. He is a legend. PH's work and life was less celebrated. Why not shine a light on one of our unsung heroes, who did so much with hsi music and his life, but got very little recognition while alive? Respect to B.I.G and his music, but don't disrespect PH because you're mad he got a sign. It's the least that could happen. He never got a gold record, million's of dollars, or a Grammy while alive.
