First off I wanna say that I am in awe of the strong accomplished women I am surrounded by who are doing on the ground life changing community, national and global work. Also I wanted to share @lauradawnartnotwar post and kind words as we @adoptakitchen are officially going to start fundraising for expansion... and I’m ⚡️scared AF ⚡️but what else am I gonna do. The program WORKS - I’ve been beta testing it for awhile haha. It’s all linked in with our #ClimateEmergency. We have to get on the ground and CHANGE THE MARKETPLACE. And in the meantime, get a bunch of folks and their families healthier!! Go to www.adoptakitchen.com and if you want to see our presentation, shoot me a message. Looking for the team, now! ✌🏽❤️ 🌱 yahhhh • • • Posted @withrepost • @lauradawnartnotwar I LOVE THIS WOMAN! I just want to lift up my bestie Free Dominguez for being awarded the COMMUNITY CHAMPION AWARD from St Joseph’s Center for her tireless work running Adopt a Kitchen. Free started Adopt a Kitchen a decade ago with her own money. She works a full time job to support herself and does Adopt a Kitchen ON TOP OF that. She teaches homeless, recovering, domestic abuse survivors and low income folks how to shop and cook healthy meals, and those are life changing skills for people, especially for those living in food deserts. Can I mention again that no one pays her this work? Please check out her website and support her work! https://www.adoptakitchen.com
